Routes were charted using aerial footage, digital elevation (DEM) data, drone imagery, and field data.
The process began in QGIS, where digital elevation data and mapped vectors of walking paths were collected and stored. This data was then manipulated into a 3D model using Blender. Texturing and modeling was made possible using drone footage along with simulated, custom materials made in Blender.
The final product is a mix of post-rendering/painting/styling done in Adobe Photoshop and detailed modeling in Blender.
